Utilities
South Salt Lake provides water, garbage/recycling, sewer, and stormwater to residents. Depending on the property address, some residents may receive water, garbage, and/or sewer services by a combination of entities, including Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, Salt Lake City Public Utilities, Mt. Olympus Sewer Improvement District, and various garbage removal companies.

Pet Licensing
South Salt Lake Animal Services is a no-kill shelter operated by the City. All pets residing within the City must licensed. It's City policy, but it also helps us unite lost pets with owners as quickly as possible. Fill out the online application on our Animal Services webpage.
