South Salt Lake City Hall is open Monday - Friday from  8 am to 5 pm. City buildings and communtiy centers are closed all major holidays.

We have several ways you can contact us.

Calls and emails after normal business hours will be promptly responded to the next business day. For non-emergency dispatch, call 801-412-3600.

Print Newsletter - The South Salt Lake City Journal is mailed to every home in the city. Inside is the monthly 'On the Move City Newsletter'. You can view our archive to read current and past newsletters.

City Emails - Sign up for monthly emails to get the latest news and updates in your inbox.

Social Media - Follow us on our city social media channels. Click the icons on the bottom of the website. The Mayor and several departments host their own social media channels, including Animal Services, Arts Council, Promise SSL, Police Department, and Fire Department. Search for them on Facebook and Instagram. 

Community Engagement

Volunteer - The city has a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year, supporting several departments.

Public Meetings - Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in City Council meetings, Planning Commission meetings, and Civilian Review Board meetings.

FlashVote - Start a FlashVote account and provide your feedback through short surveys on various topics.

Program Registration - Register for city sports and arts programs, communtiy events, and education services.
