SSLPD Community Programs
Youth Summer Camp
Every summer, our amazing school resource officers organize two week-long summer camps for the youth of our South Salt Lake community. Our officers take students on several field trips throughout the valley during that week; some locations include the Hogle Zoo, Tracy Aviary’s Nature Center, Cowabunga Bay water park, and more!
N.O.V.A Program
Our School Resource Officers work hard throughout the school year instructing the N.O.V.A. program, which stands for "Nurturing youth to seek out positive Opportunities, internalize good Values, and accept Accountability for their choices in life." N.O.V.A. Principles is a program taught by uniformed law enforcement officers who encourage positive development and growth. To learn more about the N.O.V.A. program, click here!
